Cathy is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner as well as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has been a nurse practitioner for 28 years with a rich experience encompassing tertiary care, primary care, and specialty care. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University. Following several years of practice in hospitals, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with specialized work and Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Over many years’ time, a special interest in psychiatry and mental health led to obtaining a Post-Master’s Certificate with subsequent Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. 

A sincere wish to help clients be the best version of themselves, coupled with empathy and a thirst for continuous advancement in the field of psychiatry is her daily goal. Listening to patient/client as well as family members is at the core of her practice. Care of patient/client at Lotus Group has been a perfect fit for Cathy. The whole patient is cared for, from evaluation and diagnosis to Counseling and Support. Sometimes medication is helpful on the journey toward wellness, and the shared decision with regard to its use is readily available. Her decision to join the sister company, Indianapolis TMS in order to provide an additional line of treatment for Persistent and Major Depression via Spravato was an easy decision because clients need quality care in an environment that is supportive, caring and competent.  

Cathy is married and she and her husband Dave enjoy spending time with their daughter and her husband and children. Grandchildren have been a wonderful gift and are cherished, as are their daughter and her husband. Camping has been a recent past time added and it has been an adventure.
